Contributes to the Hospital’s mission to care, heal and to excel in service to our community by independently performing radiographic examinations in accordance to department protocols and ACR imaging standards and maintaining safety standards, using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, PACS, and other related medical imaging equipment. This professional technologist position will have an impact on quality, safety and the patient experience.
Qualifications
- Education Required: Completed an accredited Radiology Technology Program and be registry eligible for ARRT. Must obtain ARRT within 12 months of hire.
- Education Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Radiology Technology.
- Experience Preferred: At least one year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Performs exams utilizing ALARA standards (As Low as Reasonably Acceptable).
- Completes diagnostic imaging examinations following established exam protocols established by Radiologists.
- Enters examinations correctly, ensuring accurate and informative documentation and appropriate charges are entered.
- Electronically sends and stores images and data appropriately in PACS.
- Maintains all department records and logs to monitor quality and safety in accordance with departmental policies.
Pay Range
$35.00 - $52.01. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
