Are you detail-oriented with a passion for quality and vehicle inspection? We’re looking for a proactive and thorough Pre-Delivery Inspector to join our Manufacturing Quality team in Warwick! This is a hands-on role where you’ll ensure that every vehicle leaving our facility meets customer specifications and quality standards. You’ll play a key part in maintaining our reputation for excellence and supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out in-process quality audits, including torque settings and hydraulic pressure checks
- Systematically test each vehicle in line with inspection procedures
- Confirm compliance with customer specifications before vehicles are passed to sales
- Record build standard criteria and faults systematically for analysis
- Promote constructive dialogue with manufacturing teams to implement quality standards
- Support continuous improvement through data collection and feedback
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles (light vehicle or HGV)
- Experience in vehicle inspection or specialist vehicle assembly is desirable
- Understanding of hydraulic systems and quality assurance processes
- Able to work to set deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Team player with a “can do” attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Mechanical qualifications, HGV licence, or tachograph training are a bonus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Driving licence and flexibility for overtime are desirable
