The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Reporting to the Business Centre Manager, the Warehouse Clerk receives, verifies and stocks merchandise, prepares orders, packs goods and ships orders in a timely manner.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Highly meticulous in keeping the warehouse tidy, ensuring merchandise is placed in the right location;
- Ensures productivity and safety in the warehouse as well as in the yard;
- Ensures orders are filled accurately and on time;
- Offload trucks, check for missing and damaged merchandise;
- Receive and verify shipments and place merchandise in stock;
- Locate related Customer back-orders and advise Customer of their arrival;
- Place and arrange stock in orderly fashion and re-arrange as required;
- Ability to transition to a delivery driver if required due to sales growth;
- Pick and pack goods, and ship orders in an accurate and timely manner;
- Pack for goods damage free shipment;
- Keep the warehouse tidy ensuring productivity and safety in the warehouse;
- Provide sales support at the Counter as needed greeting customers, preparing orders, merchandising and other assigned tasks.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in a similar position is an asset;
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and meet key deadlines;
- Team player, adaptable, energetic with a positive professional attitude;
- Demonstrated initiative to self‑improvement of your business and product skills;
- Good PC skills including MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Proactive in finding ways to improve productivity in the Warehouse;
- Must be able to handle items under 50lbs;
- Valid forklift certificate is an asset; otherwise training will be provided.
