The Production (Assembly) Department at ZUK135 is dedicated to the meticulous assembly and quality assurance of our technologically advanced surveillance and security systems.

Job Description

This role is onsite at our Ware offices, 5 days a week.

The ideal candidate is responsible for assembling parts and components to build mechanical or electrical products.

They read and interpret engineering drawings, assemble parts and components accurately, test the assembled components and report any faults.

They must also ensure that the products meet quality and safety standards.

This role also involves testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing any issues that may arise.

The successful Assembly Technician must be able to work safely and efficiently with hand tools, power tools, machinery, and other equipment.

They must also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assemble components in accordance with technical drawings.
  • Test completed assemblies for correct operation.
  • Perform basic maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Identify and replace defective assembly components.
  • Investigate and diagnose faults.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to.
  • Basic Requirements
  • Experience in a production and assembly environment.
  • Experienced and able to use a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and instructions.
  • Good practical skills and manual dexterity
  • Able to work accurately, methodically and to complete tasks to a high standard.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
