Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with ICR market teams to adapt and drive execution of GV&A strategies and launch plans to optimize access, reimbursement and uptake of HIV franchise products (both HIV Treatment and Prevention), aligned to local needs.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement awareness of unmet needs, HIV product value propositions and health economic tools to support HIV value demonstration and differentiation.
  • Lead the implementation of new capabilities, including Value Strategy & Realization (VS&R), tailored to local requirements and opportunities in collaboration with the GV&A triad and the GV&A Capabilities & Execution Lead, to ensure understanding of strategy, disease/product data, managing payer objections and negotiation skills for successful launch execution.
  • Support V&A stakeholder engagement plans across ICR market affiliates, develop engagement objectives and tools to monitor activities and KPIs.
  • Support payer research and insights generation (as needed) to understand HIV product value perception, V&A landscape trends, value drivers and test value messages.
  • Provide the ICR market regional perspective and champion local market’s needs into development of GV&A strategies and materials.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • At least 12+ years’ experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry in market access-related activities with a Bachelors degree OR 10+ years’ experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry in market access-related activities with a MS/MA degree OR 8+ years’ experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry in market access-related activities with a PhD.
  • Experience in regional/country market access, launch planning and execution is required; experience within the ICR region is preferred although not required.
  • HIV disease area experience and market knowledge an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of payer environment, including HTA, pricing and reimbursement, contracting and negotiation, and policy development.
  • Experience developing V&A strategies and dossier submissions, including value messages, HEOR models and tools to support implementation in key markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across functions and levels in a matrix environment: skilled facilitator, communicator and strategic thinker.
  • Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders to achieve the objective.
  • Curious with learning agility; operationally excellent.
