We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Utilities Engineer with an Electrical Bias to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all site utilities working rotating shifts Monday-Sunday 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00. The role involves maintaining and improving plant services such as steam, compressed air, water systems, HVAC, and electrical infrastructure. We offer a starting salary of £55,167. We are keen to speak with experienced Utilities multiskilled Engineers who are looking for a meaningful new role within a fast-paced team. As a key member of our organisation, you will be pivotal in leading all aspects of the sustainability and evolution of utilities engineering processes. Collaborating closely with the operational maintenance & facilities department, you will ensure the reliable delivery of critical utilities systems to meet the needs of our end users.

Duties & responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on utilities plant and equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot control panels, MCCs, drives, and instrumentation
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
- Support upgrades, installations, and electrical projects
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
- To have the ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical specifications
- Maintain utilities including:
- Boilers and steam systems
- Compressed air systems
- Water treatment and RO systems
- HVAC and ventilation systems
- Carry out fault finding, repair, and preventative maintenance
- Support shutdown activities and major maintenance works
- Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability and efficiency
- Assist with energy reduction and sustainability projects
- Ensure all work complies with site SOPs, permits, and safety procedures
- Participate in risk assessments, method statements, and audits
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
Experience required:
- Experienced engineer with electrical bias (NVQ Level 3 / HNC or equivalent)
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working with:
- Motors, drives, PLCs (basic fault finding)
- Control systems and instrumentation
- Experience within utilities / plant environment
- Steam, water, HVAC, or compressed air systems
- Experience of working in a regulated environment
