We are seeking resourceful and proactive professionals eager to advance their careers within a highly collaborative, market-leading team at Guy Carpenter in London. In this role, you will broker treaty reinsurance for property, motor, and casualty lines of business within the Israeli market. You will join a high-performing team where every individual’s unique skills and contributions are valued and respected.

We will count on you to:

  • Support the renewal of reinsurance programs, focusing on regional and multinational clients and prospects.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and foster strong, lasting relationships.
  • Assist in designing tailored reinsurance programs that meet client requirements, placing business with client-approved reinsurers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with reinsurers to secure favourable outcomes for clients.
  • Prepare placement slips, cover notes, and contracts as required.
  • Monitor and follow up on contract documentation to ensure timely processing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers, clients, and internal colleagues.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of reinsurer capabilities, including product lines, capacity, and approvals.
  • Stay informed of market conditions to better serve clients and negotiate optimal terms.
  • Accurately document all correspondence in line with Guy Carpenter procedures.
  • Manage reinsurance placement details efficiently through Guy Carpenter’s online portal (GC Market Place).

What you need to have:

  • Solid knowledge of the (re)insurance market.
  • Experience in property, motor, and/or casualty lines of business.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and industry leaders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage conflicts of interest and handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Preferably ACII qualified or actively working towards ACII qualification.
