Trainee Driver – During Training (first 4-6 weeks) £12.21 per hour

After Training (Trainees)

  • Monday to Saturday - £14.45 per hour
  • Sunday - £15.55 per hour
  • Bank Holiday - £22.00 per hour after 1 year service

Pay rates reviewed via frequent pay negotiations.

The training generally lasts approx. 4 weeks and will take place at our Telford depot, before you then work with a mentor for a further few weeks.

Hours of Work:

  • 5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6-8 weeks in advance so you can plan around shifts.
  • Mornings starting from 05:00, Evenings finish at around 23:45 on a rotational basis.
  • Shifts are separated into early, middle and late shifts with an average of 45 hours per week on the main rota.
  • Currently operating 1 in 4 week weekend off.
  • We cannot offer fixed early, afternoon or evenings separately.
  • Overtime available at request / availability.

Requirements:

  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • Can pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Great people and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts
