- You’ll also line manage a pool of flexible TA experts – hiring generalists who are deployed across the business based on demand, each bringing deep knowledge of their local market
- You’ll free up TA Business Partners and experts to focus on what they do best – finding and securing great talent – by building the operational backbone that makes that possible
- This is a role for someone who finds inefficiency genuinely frustrating, who sees a broken process and wants to fix it – not just flag it
- You’ll bring a practical understanding of how AI can be applied to make workflows faster and simpler, and you’ll have the organisational rigour and collaborative instincts to make things stick
- You’ll sit within the TA function, reporting directly into the Head of TA
- The team is responsible for hiring across IG Group globally, working closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and hiring managers across all divisions
- You’ll line manage a pool of TA experts who operate as flexible resource – deployed to business units as hiring demand requires
- They are generalists across IG’s hiring practices and specialists in their respective locations, and you’ll be responsible for their day-to-day management, development, and deployment
- Own the day-to-day operational running of the TA function, ensuring smooth workflow across the team
- Manage all TA-related invoicing and purchase orders, working closely with Finance to ensure accuracy and timely processing
- Maintain and manage relationships with external suppliers, including job boards, assessment providers, and recruitment agencies – holding them to agreed terms and SLAs
- Act as the central point of contact for TA admin, internal queries, and vendor coordination
- Line manage a pool of flexible TA experts, providing day-to-day support, clear direction, and ongoing development
- Manage the deployment of TA experts across the business, matching resource to demand in a way that keeps hiring moving and quality consistent
- Act as the connective tissue between the TA expert pool and the wider TA function – ensuring they’re well briefed, properly supported, and set up to deliver in each business area they’re deployed to
- Support the growth and capability of the pool over time, identifying development needs and creating opportunities to build skills across different business areas and hiring contexts
- Audit existing TA processes end-to-end, identifying friction points and designing simpler, more human-centred alternatives
- Lead implementation of process improvements, ensuring they are practical, well-communicated, and adopted by the team
- Build and maintain clear documentation for all TA processes, keeping them up to date as the function evolves
- Champion a continuous improvement mindset across the team, proactively surfacing opportunities to do things better
- Identify and implement ways to use AI tools to improve team efficiency – from automating repetitive tasks to improving candidate communication workflows
- Act as the TA team’s go-to for operational tech, supporting colleagues in getting the most from existing platforms and evaluating new tools where relevant
- Work with the Head of TA and Head of People Tech teams to ensure TA systems are configured effectively and integrated into wider HR technology infrastructure
