We are looking for candidates with strong technical skills to join our high-energy cargo inspection systems test team supporting the next generation of high energy imaging systems. Our Test Engineers perform a variety of tasks to validate, troubleshoot and adjust the products we build to deliver the highest standard of quality equipment into the hands of imaging professionals.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, document, and review test plans for high-energy cargo inspection systems and subsystems.
  • Responsible for performing system testing in compliance with applicable test plans while maintaining radiation safety.
  • Aid in setup, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of hardware/software required for testing.
  • Collaborate with R&D, hardware, software, and regulatory teams to troubleshoot and improve system performance.
  • Document, organize, and present system test results.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions to support product improvement.
  • Assist in verification and validation (V&V) activities as part of New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Lifecycle Management.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in system-level testing.
  • Ability to use computers and software applications to assist in job execution.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with mechanical systems, electrical systems, and software.
  • Radiation safety training or certification (e.g., RSO or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with imaging performance standards (e.g., ANSI N42.46).
  • Experience safely working in fast-paced environments around heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, gantry cranes, etc.).
  • Ability to travel. Occasional travel may be required for field testing and customer support.
