Location: Sunbury-on-Thames. Your primary coverage will be the Central, South West and South London areas, although you may need to travel up to Portsmouth depending on job requirements.

What You’ll Be Up To:
- Dive deep into Security Engineering, installing, commissioning and maintaining electronic systems that protect individuals, homes and properties.
- Master the art of installing and maintaining cutting‑edge systems, including intrusion detection, CCTV systems and access control.
- Our team primarily focuses on large installation projects, which typically take 3–6 months to complete.
- Gain invaluable experience across both the installation and service teams as part of this role.
- Hit the road visiting a variety of sites, from residential to commercial and retail locations.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team, absorbing skills that will pave the way to becoming a qualified fire and security engineer.
Where You’ll Train:
Banham Academy – Level 3 Fire Emergency & Security Systems Technician. Training will combine college learning with hands‑on mentoring. College is offered in a block format.
What You’ll Need:
- GCSEs in English and Maths – Grade 5 (C) or above.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions.
- Good physical health – the job can be labour intensive at times.
- Willingness to travel, work away and stay overnight in hotels when required.
- Team spirit, hardworking attitude, strong communication skills and a passion for technology and engineering.
