YOUR OPPORTUNITY
In order to win in On and Off Trade, we must execute our plans with excellence. The objective of the Commercial Execution Subject Matter Expert (SME) is to analyse current Commercial processes, tools, and capabilities and to provide insights and recommended approaches that embed executional excellence of Bacardi’s commercial plans. This will be done through two key areas:
- Analysis and refinement of our Bacardi Commercial Way (BCW) processes, in order to embed consistent AVQPAP principles across Bacardi.
- Support our Commercial WoW and SFA/CRM platform implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide expertise and guidance on current ‘AS IS’ Commercial Execution processes (from Commercial Planning to Frontline implementation), including SFA/CRM tool solutions.
- Support GPO/GPL and Commercial Tech teams with the development of future Commercial Sales Enablement tools and roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify pain points and address interconnected issues/opportunities with Commercial functions (from Planning to Execution).
- Conduct detailed analyses and provide actionable insights and KPI’s related to Commercial Execution.
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of industry and commercial trends and best practices.
- Provide recommendations for a consistent Commercial glossary of terms.
- Provide first‑hand / expert advice and recommendations to support GPO/GPL decision‑making processes.
- Act as a liaison between functions/departments to facilitate Commercial knowledge sharing.
- Support rollout of Commercial training sessions and workshops to implement ‘TO BE’ processes and future SFA/CRM platform(s).
SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related advanced degree.
- Significant experience in commercial leadership roles.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and cross‑functional environment.
- Experience deploying commercial process improvements.
- Strong change management and stakeholder engagement abilities at the Market and Region/Cluster levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong communication and governance capabilities.
- Experience with agile transformation methodologies.
- Advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken) is essential.
OTHER
This role requires approximately 30% travel. This is a global role, with a preference for candidates based in Rotterdam, London, Miami, or Barcelona.
