Do you want to lead customer‑facing grid automation projects that help deliver the energy transition? GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Project Manager – Grid Automation to join our Grid Solutions team based in Stafford or Glasgow.

Let’s Talk about the Role

The Project Manager – Grid Automation will lead the delivery of customer projects from transfer through to final acceptance, helping to protect customer satisfaction, margin, and project performance. You will manage a portfolio of active projects in grid automation, protection and control systems, and related services and products. You will keep delivery on track across commercial, technical, financial, and operational areas, while building trusted customer relationships and coordinating closely with internal teams to deliver safe, high‑quality outcomes.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Leading projects through all stages of delivery, from transfer and planning to commissioning, warranty, and close‑out.
  • Managing customer expectations by acting as the main point of contact for contract execution.
  • Coordinating with engineering, logistics, sourcing, procurement, and finance to keep delivery aligned and efficient.
  • Monitoring project performance, including cost, cash, margin, schedule, safety, and quality.
  • Preparing clear forecasts, reports, and project reviews to support decision‑making and business performance.
  • Supporting continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and helping strengthen team capability.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with company processes and standards.

Special Role Requirements

Some travel, typically around 10–15%, may be required.
