Strategic Sourcing Manager, Mars Chocolate Drinks & Treats (MCDT), fixed-term contract 18-months
Location
UK – Hybrid working model, minimum 2 days per week in the Slough office.
Salary
£58,500 - £69,000, annual bonus, benefits

MCDT is a UK-based Mars Wrigley unit focused on growth in new snacking categories through co-manufacturing partnerships.
The Role
Lead sourcing strategy, supplier performance, and innovation to drive MCDT’s long-term success. Collaborate cross-functionally and manage key stakeholder relationships.
What are we looking for?
- Significant procurement experience, delivering innovation and sourcing strategies.
- Strong financial acumen and communication skills.
- Proven relationship-building ability with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Experience in Strategic Sourcing & Category Management.
- Willingness to travel (~20%, mainly within Europe & UK).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & implement sourcing strategies to meet business goals.
- Manage supplier relationships, quality, service, and cost efficiencies.
- Identify, negotiate, and qualify new co-manufacturers.
- Drive continuous operational improvement and compliance.
- Ensure risk management across IP, quality control, and finances.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and regional teams.
