Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Senior Critical Facilities Technician to join our Data Center team in Slough. In this role, you will be responsible for running the day‑to‑day site activities of the shift maintenance team, ensuring the delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works. You will act as a technical lead, managing QHSE requirements and maintaining critical plant infrastructure at optimum operating levels to support our exponential business growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead shift operations and team supervision by managing the shift rota, allocating planned and reactive work, and providing technical guidance and onsite training to shift engineers.
  • Drive operational excellence and compliance by operating Permit to Work systems, overseeing subcontractor performance, and ensuring all maintenance records meet Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards.
  • Manage critical infrastructure and site projects by monitoring environmental conditions via BMS systems, overseeing 'Change Control' for critical equipment, and managing small technical projects from scope to completion.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous supervisory experience in a critical environment, with a proven ability to lead technical teams and manage individual development through appraisals.
  • Strong technical expertise in HV/LV systems, holding an essential HV Qualification and extensive experience with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) control methods.
  • Proven ability in QHSE management, including preparing Risk Assessments (RAMS), conducting safety audits, and managing compliance with KPI/SLA requirements.
  • Expertise in Maintenance Management Systems, with proficiency in using Computer Based Maintenance systems (e.g., Concept/MRI Evolution) and Service Now.
