Team / division overview: The DWS Alternatives business is a diversified set of business activities with approximately EUR 150bn in assets under management in strategies including Private Real Estate, Private Infrastructure, Private Credit, Liquid Real Assets (Real Estate/Infrastructure and Commodity Securities) and Sustainable Investments. The global team invests on behalf of a global client base that includes governments, corporations, institutional investors, as well as a growing UNHW investor group. Alternatives Coverage is part of the DWS Client Coverage Division and the Alternatives Sales Specialists are responsible for supporting fund raising, the development and maintenance of client relationships on behalf of the Alternatives platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering on the fundraise efforts across the Nordics, especially Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway for our Private Credit Strategies.
  • Executing on the development of regional fund marketing plans for Private Credit, including market demand assessment activities, working closely with colleagues across Coverage, Investments and Product divisions around the world.
  • Leading the execution of the sales strategy and capital raising across Private Credit strategies, particularly with a focus on the Nordic region.
  • Developing strong productive relationships with internal distribution partners.
  • Owning strategic direct client outreach in markets where the DWS generalist sales team requires additional specialist support.
  • Working closely with teams such as Product Specialists, Research and Investment Managers to convert sales opportunities into capital flows.
  • Managing Investor Relations activities, including LP Advisory Committee meetings and LP engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of sales/fund raising, with solid experience of covering institutional clients in either buy or sell-side environments across the Nordics.
  • Extensive experience across Private Credit covering strategies such as Direct Lending and Asset Based Finance.
  • Strong networking skills and proactive approach to working with colleagues across the business.
  • Highly structured approach with project management skills.
  • Ability to connect and build strong relationships with others, highly developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Highest ethical standards, integrity and discipline.
