About the Role & Team

Disney+ is The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) video entertainment service, offering premium branded content alongside a broad general entertainment library, appealing to families and adults alike. The service consists of long-form and short-form video built around six key content brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Hulu) with an appealing and easy to use interface accessed across multiple platforms (e.g. smart TVs, mobile devices). The Audience Measurement and Insight team works across the Disney Advertising, Media Networks, Content Sales and Content Development divisions, and is tasked with delivering best in class measurement, data and insight to support the objectives of each business area. We are looking to expand our team.

The Senior Analyst, Audience Measurement and Insight, will support the Disney+ Advertising UK sales team. This role will bring experience in translating audience insights from a wide range of industry tools and campaign effectiveness studies into compelling commercial narratives. The role will support the UK commercial Senior Manager, Audience Measurement and Insight, and work hand-in-hand with the regional advertising audience measurement and insight team. This position requires someone to work from our Hammersmith offices 4 days a week (Mon-Thu).

What You Will Do

  • Develop compelling audience insights to champion the benefits for advertisers in partnering with Disney+ Advertising through a range of tools e.g. BARB, TGI, AudienceProject and GWI
  • Use deep knowledge of BARB and Techedge to provide regular reporting, scorecards, nickable charts and competitor context
  • Work with Ad Sales teams to deliver bespoke responses to individual client needs and category specific analysis
  • Support on 3rd party measurement solutions delivering campaign effectiveness studies and primary research surveys
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in audience measurement

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience working within a commercial media research and insights team
  • Proven experience in analysing and interpreting BARB audience data, using TechEdge to analyse industry viewership data (Viewing, Advanced Campaign Hub, CFlight)
  • Experience cross-tabbing syndicated datasets from the UK media landscape (e.g. TGI and/or GWI)
  • Inquisitive mindset to understand how advertising best delivers brand objectives
  • Motivated by understanding drivers of advertising effectiveness and customer behaviour
  • Comfortable presenting research findings to senior-level stakeholders
  • Highly numerate with ability to turn data into insights in an interesting, engaging and commercially relevant way
  • Ability to work independently and pro‑actively with a high attention to detail
  • Able to manage and prioritise multiple deadlines simultaneously
