Hogan Lovells debt capital markets practice offers expert advice on a full range of debt capital markets, structured finance and fund finance transactions, ranging from corporate, high yield and sovereign bonds to securitizations (covering various asset classes and structures) to derivatives and structured products. It operates as an integrated part of the firm’s global international debt capital markets and structured finance team.

The securitization practice advises financial institutions, private credit lenders, arrangers, OEMs and originators on asset backed financings, forward flows and public and private securitizations of various asset classes and structures in the UK and globally including:

  • Automotive receivables
  • SME receivables
  • Consumer receivables
  • Trade and equipment lease receivables
  • Commercial mortgages
  • Residential mortgages
  • Infrastructure assets
  • Supply chain finance

The London practice is closely integrated with its international network and a lot of the work it does spans different jurisdictions.

Working Hours

35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm but additional hours may be required. We are happy to consider agile and flexible working patterns. Our approach to hybrid working allows for up to 40% of time working from home and 60% working in the office, please contact a member of the recruitment team to discuss further.

Person Specification

We have an opening for a Securitisation and Structured Finance lawyer. Experience gained within a top tier firm in this space is preferred. It is essential that the candidate has a strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree) with excellent written communication and drafting skills. The successful candidate will also have outstanding technical skills, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team. The ideal candidate will have between two and three years post qualification experience (or equivalent experience) and have experience and/or a strong interest in securitisation and structured finance work.
