Role Reporting to the Head of Categories and Expansion (Europe), our first German‑speaking Sales Manager will be responsible for capitalising on Whatnot’s existing growth and building upon its foundation. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Building and leading an established and growing International sales team as a strategic executive, driving growth.
  • Serving and effectively working closely alongside the European leadership team to lead and conduct day‑to‑day business.
  • Own and execute a sales strategy while working closely with key peers across Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations, to drive a holistic revenue function for sellers of all sizes across our core categories.
  • Build a strong sales engine; improve sales operations and utilise predictable, repeatable sales roadmaps, and effectively translate targets into specific actions for all levels of sales management.
  • Drive accountability and key growth outcomes as it relates to the full sales life cycle.
  • Harness data to drive and proactively modify a go‑to‑market playbook to implement accountability in forecasts and determine bookings and activities required to generate pipeline and velocity to achieve results.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer use cases and product capabilities across the B2B and B2C motions to understand and solve customer business problems.
  • Driving operational excellence and accountability to achieve results. Leveraging data, reporting, OKRs, and other best practices to ensure alignment at all levels.
  • Being a strong developer of talent; inspiring, a true player‑coach and a mentor.

We offer flexibility to work from home or from one of our global office hubs, and we value in‑person time for planning, problem‑solving, and connection. Team members in this role must live within commuting distance of our London, UK or Berlin, Germany hubs.
