Information Software Sales Executive – Direct sales role focused on advanced analytics, IIoT, AI and MES across Oil & Gas, Mining, Minerals & Cement, CPG and FMCG verticals.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets and meet revenue plans for Information Software solutions using a disciplined sales process within targeted accounts.
- Negotiate and bring opportunities to closure while working with Rockwell Automation sales teams.
- Manage accurate sales forecast and pipeline for Information Software and related solutions.
- Contribute to customer proposals and requests for information.
- Help develop project scope and ROI analysis.
- Use value‑selling techniques to measure project ROI and structure commercial deals.
- Leverage Global Sales and Marketing resources for opportunity identification and access.
- Serve as primary liaison between customers, regional sales team members and Information Software team to ensure efficient communication.
- Translate technical terms into everyday language and manage expectations internally and externally.
- Provide formal regular status reports to sales management, including forecast, pipeline and activity summaries.
- Monitor and report revenue and pipeline results weekly through the CRM for assigned verticals or geographies.
- Develop business and financial knowledge of IS offerings and their impact on potential business.
- Demonstrate understanding of MES and technology trends and their impact on customer decisions.
Essentials:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, supply chain, computer science, manufacturing IT or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of pre‑sales, direct sales or consulting experience.
- Software industry experience.
- Familiarity with supply chain concepts, logistics, manufacturing flow and interaction with IT and manufacturing systems.
- Experience with Data Ops, IIoT, MES, ERP, CRM, subscription or annual recurring revenue models, and collaboration with customer success functions.
- Ability to sell to senior management and executive levels, focusing on outcomes and demonstrating tangible economic value.
Preferred:
- Application experience with Factorytalk production centre, Factorytalk DataMosiax platform, Factorytalk CPG suite, Factorytalk Auto suite, Factorytalk Pharma suite, Production Management, Quality Management, Warehouse Management, Performance Management, Thingworx, Vuforia, Windchill, PLEX, Fiix.
- Industry experience in software, pharma, heavy industries, food & beverage, CPG.
