Shift: MONDAY- FRIDAY (18.00-22.00)

As a Warehouse Operative at our National Distribution Centre in Rotherham, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment while delivering high standards of accuracy and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and check incoming goods for quality and quantity
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in line with company procedures
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet trucks and forklifts (training provided if required)
  • Carry out stock checks, cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety regulations
  • Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety issues promptly to management
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and safety
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work physically demanding tasks including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods
