Marsh is seeking a talented Reinsurance Account Manager to join our dynamic team in London. This 12-month fixed term contract role is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in the office, with flexible working arrangements including part-time options to support parents returning to work or candidates seeking better work-life balance. You will work within a small team specialising in the Credit, Bond & Political Risk Reinsurance market. The role requires client engagement and offers a great opportunity for someone with experience in guarantees, credit, financial lines insurance or similar insurance or classes looking to develop their career in reinsurance.

You will manage the end-to-end renewal lifecycle for assigned client accounts, coordinating between Brokers, Clients, Client Support Services (CSS), Compliance, and Reinsurers to ensure accurate and timely completion of placement, accounting, and documentation tasks.

We will count on you to:

  • Act as the central coordinator within client teams, maintaining full visibility of placement status and resolving issues proactively.
  • Manage renewals from pre-placement through post-placement, including timelines, trackers, and market engagement.
  • Support Brokers with submission packs, presentations, and renewal documentation.
  • Track reinsurer quotes, lines, subjectivities, contracts, and responses.
  • Maintain accurate records across core systems such as GC Marketplace, OpenTWINS, KCenter, and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate drafting, review, and management of contracts, endorsements, and evidence of cover documentation.
  • Oversee account and payment activities throughout the contract lifecycle, liaising with CSS and stakeholders.
  • Organise and attend client and reinsurer meetings, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
  • Support regular team meetings with concise progress updates and maintain strong working relationships across teams.

What you need to have:

  • Experience in an Account Manager or similar role within reinsurance or insurance.
  • Exposure to Credit, Bond, and/or Political Risk business preferred.
  • Strong understanding of reinsurance placement and renewal processes.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and engage with clients and reinsurers.
