As Recreation Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all areas of the Recreation facilities are well maintained and ready for use, by ensuring immaculate hygiene standards – cleaning and sanitising each area after each use;
  • Carrying out routine cleaning and housekeeping tasks in line with operating procedures;
  • Ensuring stock and amenities are constantly replenished in all areas of the spa;
  • Setting up and dismantling of all meeting and event spaces including cinema and virtual room;
  • Supervising the pool area with basic lifeguard responsibilities (training provided, confidence in water required);
  • Opening or closing the facility;
  • Taking reservations and answering the telephone in the absence of the supervisor/receptionist.

As a Recreation Assistant, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, afternoon and evening shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable. You will be the first point of contact for our VVIP Residents.

To be a successful Recreation Assistant candidate, you will have:

  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills;
  • 5* service experience;
  • Previous customer experience and ability to work effectively under pressure;
  • A proactive approach to their work;
  • Flexibility to work any day of the week including bank holidays.
