As a Patient Recruitment Associate II at ICON, you will take a more independent role in planning, coordinating, and optimising patient recruitment and retention activities for clinical trials. You will collaborate with study teams, sites, and vendors to help ensure enrolment targets are achieved.
What You Will Do
- Take responsibility for patient recruitment and engagement deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate the execution of patient recruitment and retention plans, including site and patient-facing tactics tailored to study needs.
- Work closely with sites to understand local challenges, recommend solutions, and support implementation of recruitment initiatives.
- Monitor recruitment performance and metrics, prepare regular status reports, and highlight risks or opportunities to study teams.
- Support the development, review, and localisation of recruitment materials in collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Contribute to feasibility and planning discussions by providing insights from recruitment data and prior experience.
- Help to refine recruitment processes, tools, and best practices, and provide guidance to more junior colleagues where appropriate.

You will bring relevant patient recruitment and engagement experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience in patient recruitment, clinical research, patient services, or healthcare marketing.
- Good understanding of clinical trial recruitment drivers, site operations, and patient engagement considerations.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with experience working with recruitment data, trackers, and reports.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple studies or initiatives in a fast‑paced environment, with a commitment to quality and patient‑centricity.
