Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our dynamic team! As a Nursery Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of our children while fostering their emotional and social development within a safe and stimulating environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the planning and implementation of engaging activities
- Effectively leading a team of practitioners
- Maintaining the high standards of care and education typical of Banana Moon Nurseries
- Working closely with parents and families, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and encouraging their involvement in nursery life
Requirements:
- Qualification in Early Years Education (Level 3 or above) or equivalent
- Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting, with proven leadership or supervisory skills
- In-depth understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
- A positive attitude and an ability to inspire and motivate staff
- Commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices
- Good organizational and time management skills
