The Role

  • Leading on new product development to ensure we continue to improve our customer experience and stay at the forefront of market trends (as well as ahead of our competitors).
  • Drive a culture of test and learn in digital, proposition and product to maximise click to sale through our sales process and minimise the number of post‑sale cancellations.
  • Explore and develop new marketing strategies that drive acquisition through less traditional channels (e.g. social media, influencer marketing).
  • Develop a good understanding of platforms and systems to ensure requirements are represented appropriately (e.g. user stories) – leading those who will manage this on a day to day.
  • Explore ways to digitalise parts of our journey to maximise customer experience and minimise the customers need to interact with us through human‑to‑human means.
  • Ensures that the product/change creates value for customers and users – ability to challenge their stakeholders on value being delivered against other backlog items/priorities.
  • Manages the product backlog and can prioritise against the business goals working with their stakeholders to ensure reflective of needs and are understood and items not overlooked – works with wider stakeholder group.
  • Working with the Change programme to ensure we have the right tools, people (etc.) to deliver change against our objectives.
  • Development of core propositions with a view to attract a range of key segments.
  • Use of MI to power your decisions and identify key opportunities.
  • Ensuring product and customer journey complies with all relevant regulations and guidelines as well as actioning internal governance actions to ensure we meet our internal standards.
  • Involvement in all aspects of Telematics where required to support our overall objective.
  • Acting as the key IT contact which may require out of hours contact for high priority items that affect our ability to sell or service.
