An exciting vacancy has arisen within our Maintenance team for a Maintenance Technician to join the team. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the main purpose of this role is to support with planned maintenance and corrective activities.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain and find fault with a wide variety of automated industrial plant and process equipment including stainless steel fabrication, CNC/Robotic machinery, metal forming/press tool machinery, assembly plant, powder coating paint plant etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Completion of a recognisable apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical engineering is essential
- Hydraulic + Pneumatic experience desirable
- Proven mechanical fitting experience in an industrial maintenance engineering environment
- Able to read and follow mechanical / electrical drawings
- Competent with bench and machine fitting
- A proven working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Competent with lifting/slinging
- Capable of working unsupervised when required - alone or as part of the team
- PC literate
- Basic welding competence (preferable but not essential)
- FLT driving license/experience (preferable but not essential)
- IPAF license to drive MEWP’s i.e. scissor/boom lifts (preferable but not essential)
- Current driving licence
