Duties/Responsibilities:
- Utilises Kronos time and attendance system to maintain appropriate procedures for implementation of advanced master scheduling for the assigned department.
- Creates schedules and fills scheduled vacancies.
- Data entry of all Kronos changes/updates.
- Staffing sheet review and entry of all changes to ensure UET/Reserve/Floating is appropriately coded.
- Reviews payroll for excessive overtime.
- Assists with data collection for presentation of department financial indicators and staffing related data.
- Creates and maintains spreadsheets as needed.
- Demonstrates strong organisational skills and documented strong interpersonal skills.
- Good telephone etiquette and demonstrates appropriate time management skills.
- Ability to do accurate and precise work.
- Performs a variety of clerical duties and works well in stressful situations.
- Assists with administrative duties as needed.
Education/Experience Required:
- Computer skills - Word, Power Point, Excel, graphics and spreadsheets.
- Experience in healthcare environment, preferably with scheduling.
- Previous experience in secretarial/business support role.
- High School graduate with ability to read, write and perform math at the 12th grade level.
- Computer competency exam required.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $27.00. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
