Education required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Chemical Engineering / Industrial Engineering.
Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a full-time credit-bearing internship.
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English.
Internship period: January to June 2027.

What will you do?
- Support engineers to test and commission new equipment.
- Manage and execute assigned projects in one of the following areas according to PMI project management framework:
- New equipment introduction
- Instrumentation and Automation
- Six sigma & continuous improvement
What will you learn?
- Industrial Insights: Be part of a team with diverse engineering specializations. Work alongside professionals from different fields of expertise and gain valuable insights into Process Engineering, Commissioning and Validation, Instrumentations and Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Facility Management.
- Project Management and Execution: Learn through projects. Manage your own projects and leave your mark in the company by delivering impactful improvements; for example, leading a Six Sigma project to improve cycle time or introducing bespoke equipment that adds new capabilities to the plant. Beyond technical knowledge, you will develop decision‑making, critical thinking, stakeholder management, change management and other key soft skills to support your future career.
What are we looking for?
- Basic understanding of engineering and instrumentation principles.
- Possesses good analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and project coordination skills, with ability to work independently and in teams.
- Interest in equipment and/or instrument commissioning, troubleshooting and process improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project timelines.
