We are seeking a talented individual to join our Wealth team at Mercer. This role will be based in Hong Kong.
We will count on you to:
- Support all aspects of pension consulting work including design and planning of benefit strategies, drafting correspondence to clients on a range of consulting issues, preparing agendas, papers and minutes for trustees’ meetings.
- Deal with routine queries received from clients, scheme members, third parties and other Mercer businesses.
- Carry out basic calculations for individual members and preparation of figures for corporate accounts with help from more senior members of the team.
What you need to have:
- Undergraduate in Economics, Finance/ Actuarial Science, Mathematics and any other numerate degrees.
- Strong self-initiative and curiosity in financial services, self-motivated to seek out knowledge, test ideas and ways to contribute to the team.
- Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with team members.
- Motivated to deliver good quality work and high learning agility.
- Strong personal management to be able to handle a variety of tasks, with diverse objectives and team members.
- Good capabilities of Microsoft Office suite. Strong Excel skills, basic VBA will be a plus.
- Fluency in English and Chinese is a must.
- A client-oriented approach, strong teamwork skills, and meticulous attention-to-detail are essential mindsets for success in this role.
