Job Summary
- Operation of big bagging and associated equipment
- Bulk loading of lorries, containers and tautliners
- Maintaining a concise log of production completed
- Respects all site safety rules
- Removal of FGS pallets from the palletiser and placing them in stock in the required area, keeping spreadsheets up to date
- Maintain the necessary records for noting operational, quality, safety and environmental information as required
- Knowledge of relevant internal product specification sheets: understanding of quality tests and implications of process
- Adapt to different test methods that may be required as the plant develops and progresses
- Ensure the palletiser does not run out of pallets or hoods in the hooder
- Maintain a clean, safe work area
- Record data as required for continuous improvement
- Operation of the packing and mixing plant including fault diagnosis through the HMI
- Reception of raw materials and transfer to silos
- Visible qualification of raw material samples against reference samples
- Loading of vehicles and FG sampling for sample storage in laboratory
- Data entry for quality and dispatch area
You Will Have
- A Fork Lift Truck License
- Experience operating big bagging, packing, and mixing plant equipment, including fault diagnosis via HMI
- Proven ability to bulk load lorries, containers, and tautliners safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of product specifications, quality testing, and raw material verification
- Experience receiving raw materials, transferring to silos, and conducting finished goods sampling
- Strong record‑keeping skills across production, quality, safety, environmental, and dispatch data
- A proactive approach to site safety, continuous improvement, and maintaining a clean, organised work area
- Experience managing palletiser operations, stock control, and ensuring uninterrupted production flow
