About Aquarius
Aquarius Action Projects is a long-established charity (since 1977) based in Birmingham with a national reach of contracts and partnerships. Aquarius is a subsidiary of Waythrough – a large charity that specialises in mental health, alcohol, drugs and related areas. Waythrough was formed in 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Together, we’ve created one of the largest mental health and social support charities in England. What you’ll do
- Reach and engage people in custody, prison and the community
- Support individuals into the right treatment pathway – from rehab to community support
- Build strong, trusting relationships that motivate change
- Coordinate multi‑agency responses to reduce reoffending
- Track progress, outcomes and the impact of your work

- Experience supporting people affected by substance use
- Strong communication, assessment and relationship building skills
- Confidence working across agencies and in the community
- A flexible, proactive approach and a commitment to recovery‑focused practice
Police vetting and travel across Solihull area required.
