Operating entirely on donations, Dogs Trust also maintains a strict non-destruction policy for healthy dogs, and it works with communities and governments to promote responsible dog ownership and reduce suffering.

Your Role: As a Home-to-Home Fundraiser, you’ll engage with people at their doorsteps, having meaningful conversations and inspiring them to support national charities such as Dogs Trust through regular donations or sponsorships. This role is focused on genuine, face-to-face interactions with purpose. While comprehensive training will be provided, success in the role requires confidence, resilience, and strong communication skills. Each day, you’ll visit your assigned area during smart working hours of 11am–7pm, when sign-ups are most successful. You’ll speak with residents and encourage them to become long-term monthly donors (typically £10 per month). Your ability to build trust, overcome objections, and share a powerful message will be essential to achieving great results.
