Tasks and Qualifications
Your role will be both hands‑on and problem‑solving‑oriented, diagnosing and resolving technical issues to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency. You will conduct preventative maintenance, travelling to customer locations to service Linde forklifts and other state‑of‑the‑art material handling equipment, building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional support. We are looking for candidates with experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, particularly forklift technicians, plant fitters, plant technicians, or vehicle technicians. Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is highly desirable. Preferably NVQ level 3 (or equivalent); not essential. Comfortable using IT equipment and maintaining accurate records. Hold a full UK driving licence. Comfortable working autonomously and within a team.
