LSEG Risk Intelligence provides solutions to help organizations navigate risks, avoid reputational damage, reduce fraud, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance worldwide. Within Risk Intelligence, our Digital Identity & Fraud products “Trusted Payments”, “Identity Verification” and “ID Insights” help our customers successfully manage risk. This engineering leadership role is based in Nottingham, UK and will lead US, UK, and India‑based engineers. The individual will be accountable for implementing the engineering roadmap and working with LSEG technology architecture to ensure alignment with the technical strategy.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead engineers in the development of Digital Identity & Fraud products and services to meet ongoing business needs.
  • Ensure high levels of service, quality, security, and performance are consistently met, driving innovations to support growing volumes that reduce cost and time‑to‑market.
  • Drive innovation and differentiation to better address current and future needs within the risk domain.
  • Provide thought leadership in modern software delivery on cloud, AI‑enabled delivery, and agile techniques.
  • Accountable for a program of service improvement for performance and availability of products, and for changing expectations around security, privacy, and data residency.
  • Lead teams to deliver quality products on time, following Agile software development practices.
  • Foster a high‑performance engineering team through mentoring, engagement, and performance management.
  • Nurture a culture of quality, accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and data‑driven decision making.
  • Own and define the client outcome with the product team and avoid taking just specifications.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Degree‑level qualification, preferably in Computer Science or related field, with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Deep knowledge and experience of Microsoft and Azure development architectures and tooling.
  • Proven experience solving sophisticated API, distributed architecture, and data problems.
  • Experience with use cases involving highly restricted data.
  • Strong change management skills and deep experience modernizing sophisticated stacks.
  • Ability to manage change and relationships across developers, operations, product, legal, compliance, and clients spanning many individuals.
  • Experience working in agile SDLC, with a product mentality, and within organizations employing modern product management practices.
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Comfortable working in a multi‑location, multi‑time‑zone environment with remote stakeholders and dependent teams.
  • Customer‑first mindset and ability to partner closely with product, sales, and operations teams to craft client solutions.
  • Support business teams for client presentations and strategy updates.
  • Experience working across multiple functional disciplines, including security, compliance, legal, and other engineering teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, building relationships and effectively communicating across multiple management and organizational levels.
