Password Services, part of Johnson Controls, specialises in servicing and maintaining HVAC and refrigeration equipment, predominantly within the hospitality sector, alongside retail, leisure and other commercial environments. We are currently looking for an experienced HVAC / Refrigeration Service Engineer to join our growing team. This is a mobile, field-based role, working Monday to Friday with participation in a standby rota and paid overtime.
About the Role
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, with a strong focus on commercial fridges and freezers. This role would suit an engineer with experience in hospitality environments and familiarity with manufacturers such as Adande, H&K, and Nordair Niche. Gas qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Fault find and resolve issues efficiently across a range of equipment
- Work on commercial refrigeration equipment (cold rooms, display cabinets, chillers, cellar cooling, ice machines)
- Deliver high-quality service to clients in line with SLAs
- Complete service reports and compliance documentation accurately
- Participate in on-call/standby rota

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in HVAC and/or refrigeration service and maintenance
- Strong experience working on commercial refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of hospitality sector equipment is highly desirable
- Experience with manufacturers such as Adande, H&K, Nordair Niche (advantageous)
- F-Gas certification (essential)
- Gas qualifications (desirable, but not essential)
- Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical discipline)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards
