Your role will be both hands-on and problem-solving-oriented, diagnosing and resolving technical issues to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency. You’ll also guard preventative maintenance, conducting essential check-ups that keep the fleet running smoothly. You will travel to various customer locations, bringing your expertise to service Linde forklifts and other state-of-the-art material handling equipment. In this role you will forge strong relationships and deliver exceptional support, tackling challenges head-on as an integral part of the customer’s operation.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems with fleet equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and essential check-ups.
  • Provide on-site support to customers across multiple locations.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a vehicle technician, forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, or mechanical engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
  • Comfortable using IT equipment for accurate record-keeping and order placing.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
