The EPC Engineering Project Manager role is responsible for leading all engineering tasks related to the delivery of a SPS project to the client, within budget and on time. They must be focused on safety, quality and compliance.
As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overall engineering leadership on the project.
- Responsible for the project technical relationship with the client.
- Accountable for the detailed engineering integrated planning and execution to the plan.
- Coordinate COE’s engineering activities to achieve overall budgeted hours for all packages.
- Lead monthly scheduled reviews that track progress and spending by team.
- Monitor, explain and resolve any deviations from the early baseline on the S-curve for engineering.
- Drive on-time delivery through regular meetings and detailed team engagement.
- Issue and approve manpower needed to execute to the schedule and any additional scopes that enter the project.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Masters or bachelor’s degree in engineering or science-based discipline.
- Previous experience in positions such as project engineering, system engineering or project engineering management at product or system level.
- Ability to create and lead multi-disciplined, geographically dispersed teams.
- Ability to synthesize information, identify problems, establish facts, and deduce solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
- Availability to travel internationally for project needs and for short term assignments.
