The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or system following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining production equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets.

Key to the site improvement journey, using integrated lean six sigma methodology, you will use your technical expertise to optimise your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards. Ensuring that safety processes and practices are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed, you will understand the losses in your production area and work with the wider team to eradicate and maximise performance.

What you will bring:

  • Maintenance and repair of production equipment, preferably within a food production environment (not essential).
  • Multi trades - mechanical and electrical.
  • Sound understanding of safety and quality standards for operating & maintaining machines.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability and willingness to work as part of a fast paced, flexible team.
  • Time served with a relevant qualification (HNC etc).

Work schedule: 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts, 2 days (7am to 7pm) and 2 nights (7pm to 7am).
