Main Purpose: The Fleet Technician provides administrative and operational support to the underwriting team, ensuring that policies are processed accurately and efficiently throughout their lifecycle. The role focuses on accurate data entry, timely issuance of documentation, and building effective working relationships to support new business, renewals, and mid‑term adjustments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support underwriters with administrative tasks for new business, renewals, and mid‑term adjustments
  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate policy and risk data in underwriting systems
  • Issue policy documentation, certificates, and related correspondence
  • Analyse driver and vehicle referral cases, identifying key risk factors and supporting underwriters with clear, accurate referral information and recommendations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements
  • Participate in ad‑hoc duties as required to effectively maintain the smooth running of the Fleet department
  • Ensure all work undertaken is complete, correct and compliant
