As a Production Controller, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and coordinating production activities to ensure manufacturing output meets production plans, delivery commitments, and operational targets while optimizing cost, quality, and capacity utilization. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a highly collaborative environment, enjoys working with data, and takes ownership of production planning and execution processes.

As a Production Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting production by coordinating the release of work orders and move orders while maintaining accurate commitment dates.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed production plans for test and assembly areas.
  • Leading cell production meetings and driving effective material management processes.
  • Coordinating closely with Production, Material Planning, Manufacturing Engineering (ME), Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Identifying production deviations and supporting recovery plans to meet delivery and output targets.
  • Liaising with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure timely delivery of work packages aligned with build schedules.
  • Escalating risks related to capacity, manpower, material shortages, or equipment constraints.
  • Creating and maintaining non‑standard discrete jobs within the system.
  • Coordinating timely closure of discrete jobs to ensure accurate system records and reporting.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be self‑sufficient in defining production priorities based on stakeholder requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong capability in using Oracle ERP systems and reports to identify material risks and manage shortages.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel to analyze, manipulate, and present data to stakeholders.
  • Have prior experience in planning, procurement, or a related function.
  • Be able to manage multiple stakeholders and use data to make informed decisions.
  • Create structured rhythms and communication cadences across teams to ensure delivery against project schedules.
  • Be proficient in software applications including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Oracle, Cyberplan, and Gensuite.
