Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Purchasing Associate who plays a key role in improving Topps’ overall cost and pricing activities. This position is expected to support all areas of purchasing including:

  • Cost estimating/forecasting
  • Analyzing vendor quotations
  • Managing raw material inventory
  • PO and invoicing process

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cost estimation analysis to Brand Managers and Finance based on historical cost and cost matrix established with vendors
  • Maintain final manufacturing cost for all projects
  • Provide RFQ process support and analysis to the Pre-production and Production leadership teams
  • Track spend by supplier and categories
  • Raw material inventory management to minimise wastage/maximise usage
  • Strong link to the finance function to ensure accurate recording of all cost-based information in the accounting records and forecasting process
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiencies by working with suppliers, comparing SKUs across suppliers and recommending reconfigurations of product/packaging

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor or associate degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or other relevant degree required
  • 4+ years of experience in planning, purchasing or financial analysis
  • Experience with an ERP system preferred
  • Hands-on experience managing purchasing or forecasting in a previous role
  • Strong team player, with analytical mindset and the ability to work independently
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required
  • Previous professional experience with printing industry or consumer goods are a plus
