Location: Bosques, Mexico City

Terms & Conditions: Full-time – Hybrid (onsite in the office three days per week). No national or international relocation bonus applies.

Main Job Purpose: The Market Security Specialist will lead the security function in Sales Field Operations & Country Risks Assessment. Responsible for the delivery of the security procedures the market requires, this role will ensure our people and assets are protected. The Market Security Specialist is tasked with the implementation of the market security plan, which will assess threats, risks and resources. To deliver the Field Operations market security plan, the Market Security Specialist will work closely with Mexico Sales team or Customer Development Responsible. A high level of assurance is required to ensure that security activities and procedures match the local level of risk, whilst being compliant with Global Group standards. Security planning must be an integrated business function, and the Market Security Specialist will be required to work closely with leaders from SHE, Engineering, HR, Legal, IT, Workplace, Brand Protection and Business Integrity areas. Effective engagement with third party security providers and government agencies is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with market level teams to analyse security threats and risks to our people and business.
  • Implement security mitigation plans and establish relevant countermeasures.
  • Escalate higher-level risks as required.
  • Work with sales teams to communicate security advice to travellers operating in high-risk zones & cities.
  • Work with Market Security Leader to develop Incident Management plans.
  • Support country level implementation of incident management framework.
  • Ensure the security framework is applied effectively at market and country level.
  • Conduct security risk assessments to validate effectiveness of security controls (people, processes and technology).
  • Lead the implementation of effective and cost-efficient holistic security solutions for the market.
  • Conduct a physical security Risk Assessment standard for new field operations activities to threat assessment.
  • Coordinate and deliver security capability training required by employees, security teams and third-party partners.
  • Possess contractual assessment skills for the implementation and review of security contracts.
  • Prepare reports including security incident reporting, intelligence briefing, threats assessments and investigative reports.
  • Utilise an active regional security network to share security information, trends and evolving operational practice.
  • Participate in industry forums and understand emerging security technologies.

Requirements & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security, Business Administration, Criminology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in roles such as Security Analyst, Risk Analyst, Compliance / Internal Control, Audit (internal or external), or Fraud and Loss Prevention, preferably within FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) companies.
  • Experience in a control process or corporate security role.
  • Experience in a significant coordination role.
  • Intermediate–advanced level of English proficiency (required).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (analysis and reporting).
  • Strong data handling skills with the ability to generate actionable insights.
