Role responsibilities:

  • Confidently explain and present choices made in the final design to varying audiences
  • Responsible for the creation of artefacts that support the lean process including wireframes, prototypes, customer journey maps, testing and research
  • Able to lead the development of those features, ensuring the work is consistent and fulfils the design aims
  • Lead small teams, being accountable for the quality of delivery
  • Facilitate workshops to build collaboration between project team members
  • Liaise with Product Owners and project Stakeholders as well as key role holders within the project team to help deliver the desired user experience

We are looking for:

  • A varied portfolio that demonstrates the quality of your design thinking and research/testing methods
  • Some experience of managing designers and project work
  • Excellent communication skills used to present ideas and feedback to help the project team as well as provide feedback to other UX designers to ensure the quality control is maintained as set out by the UX charter
  • A solid understanding of UX practices within software development
  • A good understanding of accessibility (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design techniques or a keen willingness to learn
