The Product Sales Specialist (d/f/m) – Confocal Microscopy is responsible for advising and supporting research customers in the field of confocal microscopy/research in the UK & Ireland, with the goal of further developing this area and ensuring long‑term customer engagement. This position reports to the Sales Director and is part of the commercial team located in the UK working remotely to cover UK North/West.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop new and existing customer potential and conduct sales conversations with confidence.
  • Identify new customer contacts in alignment with strategic guidelines.
  • Provide intensive support to core imaging facilities and key institutes within the sales region.
  • Prepare accurate weekly and monthly pipeline data in SFDC for sales forecast for confocal product lines.
  • Generate leads through marketing activities, product presentations, and workshops at customer sites; represent the company at trade meetings.
  • Supply sales management and marketing with insights on market share development, competitor activities, trends, and market dynamics in the assigned region.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Strong sales experience in the Life Science Market.
  • Degree preferably in Life Sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Proven record of successful selling of high‑tech instruments.
  • Hands‑on experience in microscopy and specialized microscopy techniques, particularly confocal microscopy, with strong technical understanding.
  • English fluency.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel, >50% travel within territory.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
