This role sits at the forefront of expanding Mark43’s presence in a new and evolving market. You will help bring modern, cloud-based technology to police forces and public safety organisations, shaping how they operate and serve their communities. This is a unique opportunity to define a market, influence adoption of next-generation policing technology, and drive meaningful impact across the UK public safety landscape.

What You’ll Do

  • Led conversations with police forces and public safety organisations to understand operational challenges and identify how Mark43 can deliver value.
  • Built and progressed pipeline by engaging prospective customers across the UK policing ecosystem.
  • Navigated complex public sector procurement processes, maintaining momentum and attention to detail throughout.
  • Partnered with Marketing, Customer Success, and Delivery teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions.
  • Represented Mark43 at industry events, building relationships with key stakeholders across policing and government.
  • Strengthened your understanding of the UK policing landscape, including funding, procurement frameworks, and competitive dynamics.
  • Collaborated with internal stakeholders and UK leadership to shape go-to-market strategy in a developing region.

What You’ll Need

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, ideally within the public sector.
  • Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and consistently exceeding targets.
  • Experience working with UK public sector procurement processes and frameworks.
  • Ability to build credibility with both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and position solutions effectively.
  • Understanding of policing or wider public safety environments is highly desirable.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Check (SC) clearance, with support from Mark43.
  • Comfortable working independently and driving progress across a broad and developing market.

Location

This role is based in Manchester, UK, with a hybrid schedule of 2 to 3 days per week in the office when not traveling. Regular travel is expected for customer meetings, industry events, and team collaboration.
