We’re looking for a Manager/Senior Manager, Liberty Growth – Content, to join us in Chelsea, London. A key role in Liberty Global’s Growth team, the Manager/Senior Manager will support the sourcing, evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities in the media vertical, alongside the active management of Liberty Global’s existing media portfolio. The role holder will play a meaningful part in shaping and delivering the Liberty Growth – Content strategy, contributing to investment decision‑making for acquisitions, minority investments, partnerships and joint ventures across the media landscape. The role will have a particular focus on sports, live events and premium content, working closely with senior stakeholders, portfolio company leadership teams and external advisors. This role offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle, combining analytical depth with commercial judgement and increasing ownership over transactions and portfolio activity.
What will you be doing?
- Investment Evaluation & Execution: Participate in the evaluation of new investment opportunities across the media ecosystem, supporting strategic assessment, valuation and investment thesis development. Coordinate and support all elements of commercial, financial and operational due diligence, working closely with internal functions and external advisors. Build and deliver complex financial models, scenario analyses and sensitivity work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Support transaction execution, including deal structuring, documentation review and negotiation support.
- Governance, Materials & Stakeholder Support: Lead the preparation of high‑quality briefing materials, investment papers and presentations for Liberty Global’s Board, CEO and internal investment committees. Ensure analysis and recommendations are clear, concise and aligned to Liberty Global’s strategic and governance standards. Support senior team members in managing internal decision‑making processes and approvals.
- Market Intelligence & Origination Support: Engage with advisers, industry participants and market contacts to gather market intelligence, competitor insight and sector trends. Research priority sub‑sectors (with emphasis on sports, live events and adjacent verticals) to identify emerging themes and investment opportunities. Begin to develop a relevant industry network to support future opportunity sourcing and proprietary deal flow.
- Portfolio Management & Value Creation: Support the ongoing management of Liberty Global’s content investment portfolio, including performance tracking, strategic reviews and evaluation of alternatives. Assist in assessing follow‑on investments, exits, partnerships and capital structure decisions. Work with portfolio company management teams on strategic initiatives, where appropriate, supporting value creation and growth.
- Collaboration & Project Management: Help coordinate internal resources across Finance, Strategy, Legal, Tax and other functions for each transaction or portfolio initiative. Liaise with external advisors including investment banks, legal counsel, accountants and consultants, ensuring deliverables are high quality and on time. Manage multiple workstreams concurrently, balancing priorities across live transactions, portfolio activity and strategic projects.
- General: Act as a champion for new business ideas and external opportunities that enhance Liberty Global’s exposure to high‑growth content businesses. Undertake other duties as reasonably requested in support of the Growth and Content agenda.

- Knowledge & Experience: Experience in investment banking, consulting, corporate development or private equity. Background in M&A, accounting, strategy or media‑focused corporate roles. Robust analytical capability with sound commercial judgement. Demonstrated financial modelling expertise, including valuation and scenario analysis. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing senior‑level materials. Strong work ethic and self‑starter mindset, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Proven ability to prioritise competing projects and meet tight deadlines. Comfortable working across multiple geographies, cultures and stakeholders.
- Desirable: Direct experience in the media, content, sports or live events sectors. Exposure to portfolio management, post‑deal integration or active ownership models. Experience working with Boards or investment committees.
