In Financial Advisory, Alantra has completed over 750 transactions in the last four years in M&A, debt advisory, financial restructuring, structured funding and asset‑backed securitizations, credit portfolio advisory, and capital markets. The Alantra UK Real Estate team is searching for an Associate to join a high performing group of individuals to execute a raft of quality mandates that have recently been secured. The Real Estate team’s focus is across M&A and capital raising (debt and equity), across its 3 core sectors: Residential, Healthcare and Hospitality. This specific role is for someone with a good technical background in real estate, who has experience in M&A and capital raising across relevant asset classes.

Full pitch to completion execution and project management experience is desired, with good modelling and PowerPoint skills. Candidates will be highly personal and ambitious, with a willingness to take ownership and senior level responsibility over transactions. The job involves significant interpersonal interaction with both clients and investors in the preparation and presentation of business plans, information memoranda and supporting financial analysis. There is also a business development aspect, with the chance to develop skills both originating business and adding to the team’s expertise within the Real Estate sector.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of professional experience
  • Existing affinity to the Real Estate sector, gained through academic and/or professional experience
  • Prior involvement in multiple M&A transactions, from start to finish
  • Robust financial and analytical skill set
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Able to collaborate effectively within a team
  • A self‑starter with a positive outlook and can‑do attitude
