An excellent and rewarding job opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Vehicle Coach Builder to join our Luton depot. Your role would include maintaining and repairing the company’s vehicles to the strict standards set by both Arriva and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency). At Arriva we are one team. We work together to ensure our customers are kept happy every day by delivering a great customer experience. Engineers are an essential part of our team who ensure that all our vehicles are in safe and roadworthy condition.

The role will involve:
- Assisting in the repair of our fleet of buses to the company’s Engineering Quality Standards
- Repairing of body work, such as welding and painting and dealing with accidental damage to vehicles along with bespoke alterations as required
- You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to high standards set by the company to ensure road worthiness in a timely manner
Requirements:
- You will be qualified and have prior experience in a PSV vehicle workshop environment as a body builder / coach maker
- You will be a motivated team player, who can work effectively unsupervised and use your own initiative to solve problems.
- In our business, safety of our customers must not be compromised, therefore induction and development will be provided plus PCV Licence Training where necessary.
- This is a full-time position and you will be required to work Monday to Friday day shifts but with an element of flexibility.
