About you: You enjoy speaking to people and turning conversations into real opportunities. You’re confident picking up the phone, running video calls and, now and then, meeting customers in person. You like understanding how a business works and helping people see a better way of doing things. Day-to-day, you will:

  • Guide customers through the full sales journey, from product demo to close, using leads from different channels.
  • Talk with customers about their accounts payable (AP) processes and show how Lightyear can make their day-to-day work easier and more efficient.
  • Support customers during their trial, making sure they have a positive experience and get real value from the software.
  • Keep your pipeline up to date, including follow-ups, forecasting and general sales administration.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Confidence learning new software and explaining technology in a clear, simple way.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence different decision-makers.
  • Experience working with multiple sales teams or stakeholders to get the right outcome for the customer.
